toilet seat notebook - iBook Clamshell

Officially, the original iBook was just called the “iBook,” it has been referred to as “iBook Clamshell.” Except with its distinct look, it has been referred to “Barbie's accessory” or more popularly "toilet seat".
Anyhow, presenting my latest old computer - Apple iBook (FireWire), better known as iBook Clamshell Indigo.

(as usual, more photos follow...)

Unlike Don and open-source extremists who demand everything the latest, the poor Antony is getting this 13-year-old laptop.

Model No.: M6411, made in year 2000 which translates to aD9 (since our Don was born in 1991)
A quick specs of this iBook:
366 MHz PowerPC G3, RAM: 320 MB, 800x600, AirPort card (802.11b) installed.
You can find the official technical specifications at Apple Support web site.

EveryMac.com has detail and history about this iBook.

This iBook is nowhere to be considered as lightweight. It weighs 3.04kg. The white iBooks weigh 2.2kg each.

My three iBooks: iBook (G3 800 MHz), iBook (Clamshell, G3 366 MHz) and iBook (G3 500 MHz)

This iBook runs very slow on Mac OS X 10.4.11. Under Mac OS 9, the speed is still acceptable. Unlike Don and other open-source extremists who must use the latest of the latest, I am content with Mac OS 9 (operating system). Time to clean out the HDD junk left from previous owner now.
