finally, a staple tacker

Finally, I got myself a staple tacker (perhaps it is also known as staple gun). If memory serves correctly, Don has had a staple gun for quite a few years, what does this mean? It takes me quite a while to catch up with Don.

Anyhow, it also means I can return the staple tacker I borrowed from Rev. Dr. Wu Yi last year (or in 2009).

A staple tacker, stapler, and some staples

At the same time, I also bought another super-flat stapler. You can just feel the stapled documents different when you use the stapler that makes the staple super-flat. It is very important to save the space since I don't have a large room like Don.

The Staple tacker uses different size staple, so I also bought a pack for it.

Why do I need a staple tacker? Well, to Don's dis-believe, I fix things. Staple tacker is a great device to fix things. Extremely handy to have one.

Okay, I admit that the only reason I bought this staple tacker is because I used up all the staples supplied by Rev. Dr. Wu Yi, and at time of getting some staples, I told myself I might as well getting myself a stable tacker.

Thank you Rev. Dr. Wu Yi for lending me the staple tacker for so long.

(to Don: Antony is very poor.)

Without trying to sound like Tim Allen's character in ToolTime, real men buy their staple guns at a real hardware place, not from Office Works or the like as you did. However I am sure it will work just as well. How about the staples? Did you buy another packet? You'll be surprised how many jobs you can do with a handy staple gun!

No sorry. Your staple gun uses unusual size staples.

I don't have a staple gun, my father does. I've never needed to buy one.
Well, I just have a plain old desk stapler, that was someone else's trash.

Thank you Antony for the return of my staple gun sans any staples. Now I have to run around and source them for myself ;-o.

Don:
How nice, you have all sorts of tools available to you. I had to borrow a staple gun from Rev. Dr. Wu Yi, also, I still don't own a soldering iron (and set) at all.

Rev. Dr. Wu Yi,
Perhaps, you need to upgrade your staple gun to the one that uses common staples.
Posted by Antony on 23 January 2011 5:23 PM.
Why would you ever need a soldering iron? When something breaks, you enjoy just throwing it out and buying a new one.

When devices fail, unlike the multi-skilful you, I have to get a replacement or have it fixed. It is something people HAVE TO do, not necessary enjoy doing

Somehow, I have a feeling you know enough about the subject matter, but just choose not to do it because it's an opportunity for you to buy a new gadget. Case in point, you bought a Mac Pro with all sorts of extras when you could have just fixed your iMac.

The said iMac was (1) out of warranty (2) overdue for an replacement (3) it was not fixed by me.
I have saved for quite a while to get a Mac Pro. Not an instant decision.

First, big deal if it was out of warranty. My laptop's been out of warranty for a year and a half and I still use it.
I wouldn't really say it was overdue for replacement, since it was still fairly new.
I thought you told me that, AFTER you got the Mac Pro, you finally opened it up and blew all the dust out that was causing it to heat up.

Yes, but the problem still exist. Hence, there was nothing wrong getting the Mac Pro.
Posted by Antony on 30 January 2011 1:54 PM.
Somehow, I don't think you tried very hard to fix it.
