good to have my Nespresso

After quite a few days without my Nespresso coffee, I finally had my Nespresso coffee this morning. Because that I haven't used Nespresso Lattissima for quite a while, I decided to give it a big clean before using, as well as getting some newly filtered water.

Nespresso coffee tastes really good.

I did have coffee every morning, but some coffee shops weren't that good at all.

So where have I been? Laurent and I went to a few places in South Australia, then to the very hot Alice Springs and Uluru (Ayers Rock) in central Australia.

And to Don: Antony is poor.

So you wrote a blog post just to plug a brand name? Wow, you really are loyal to Nespresso.

No, but I missed my Nespresso.
Further, I wrote something else (of course compared to beautiful Boston) but deleted that part at last minute.

My New Year's resolution is to only write nice things about Antony and his choices on his blog from now on!
It's going to be tough, but I will persevere.

You missed it, and had to let the world know how good it was -> sounds like an advertisement.
I am a member of the (to Antony: old fashioned FM) radio station here on campus now, and it is a "noncommercial" station, which (among many other things) means that we can't plug brand names on the radio. And for the most part, we could never air something like this, just for that reason.

Geez, I can't even mention what I missed, and what made me felt good afterwards.
So, very interesting, your radio station can't mention "Microsoft Xbox 360" I take, you guys have to use terms like "video game console". How politically correct. OR was that Microsoft got the exception?
Unlike very advanced United States of America, we don't blur our t-shirt arts on the TV, we don't intentionally hide the mention of product name (or brand name) here.

No, you missed my point. We can mention brand names, but we cannot advertise for them like you are doing.
Posted by Don_HH2K on 20 January 2011 4:55 PM.
So you can mention brand names only in the situation of criticising (e.g. how bad Sony PS3 is) or competing (e.g. Microsoft Xbox 360 is far better than Sony PS3)?
Well, unlike other blogs written by other geeks, I don't bash certain brand/product that often.
Back to this entry, it is about what I missed during the 2+ weeks trip, and it is not just a regular coffee, and how do I mention it without mention the brand name?
Posted by Antony on 20 January 2011 10:24 PM.
You missed my point again. We can criticize and mention and whatever else have you, but we simply cannot plug a brand name as you so blatantly did in your post.
Posted by Don_HH2K on 21 January 2011 1:38 AM.
Of course, like what I said, you can endlessly criticise and bashing Apple and Sony, but I can't even mention the product I missed for 2+ weeks. So, with your standard, perhaps the only product/brand I can praise is Microsoft.
Posted by Antony on 21 January 2011 1:51 AM.
When do I endlessly criticize and bash Apple and Sony? Or perhaps you just interpret it that way since you worship those two brands.
You were not talking about missing your Nespresso, you were shamelessly plugging the brand name, giving them free advertisement.
I don't love Microsoft and don't particularly care about them above any other companies. I'm writing this comment on a Solaris machine and have been doing most of my work either on a Solaris or CentOS box lately.
