30 more sleeps to go

Only 30 more sleeps to go until the very important Presents Opening Day (a.k.a. Christmas). Guess what? I haven't started my Christmas shopping yet this year. Nothing at all. Well, I could count the recent Apple products as the presents for myself.

Been an extremely busy year so far, hardly had any time for things such as photography courses and window shopping. (to Don: necessary grocery shopping is not counted as window shopping.)

I helped Laurent setting up his Christmas tree today, and this year's theme is silver, but he hardly had any silver tinsels. Well, I guess the tree has to look thin this year.

I might pre-order the ZAGGmate (with keyboard) for my Christmas. It looks amazing and practical, just what I need for my iPad.

There are two versions of ZAGGmate, one is with keyboard (Bluetooth), one without.
Besides the keyboard difference, the one with keyboard is 13.7 mm (0.54 inches) thick, whereas the one without keyboard is 10.2 mm (0.4 inches) thick. The weight is slightly different: 0.2 kg (7 ounces) vs 0.37 kg (12.8 ounces). Well, the Apple Wireless Keyboard (aluminium) is 326 grams in weight, it's not a huge difference I'd say.

ZAGGmate is from the company that make very very important InvisibleSHIELD, well one of the companies Don hates. (Don pretty much hates every company except Microsoft.)

Back to the Christmas tree topic, I bought a Christmas tree last year during the special at Big W. I guess I am not going to bother putting it up. Just gifts piled up (in a tree shape) will do, something like this (photo from 2008's Christmas):

Microsoft is not on any whitelist of my dislike of rampant consumerism. I've had that discussion too many times to want to have it again.

Well, in general, Microsoft is your least dislike company.

No, sorry. That title previously would have belonged to Sun Microsystems, though the same can't be said after the Oracle buyout.

If not the least dislike company, it would be the second or third least dislike company.
One way or the other, Microsoft is much much better than Sony or Apple in your preferences. We all know that.
