Up until switching to Telstra for the iPhone 4, I had been a Vodafone customer for a pretty long time. Vodafone was good, and good deal, except I needed better coverage.
Since then, I received emails from Vodafone regarding my online bill is ready. I tried to log into MyVodafone to read my bill, except they won't let me log in since I was no longer their customer. Which was fine with me as I thought that I might still owe them some money. Also I had my account set to auto-payment with them, they will get the money from my credit card by the due date. So I was not worried.
However, I had been receiving the Vodafone Bill is Ready emails every month. I thought no, it can't be right, do they still have my account open and keep charging me money? (which is not the case as I can't see any Vodafone entries on my credit card statement) Or they failed to charge me and I still owe them money? (that could be a worry, as I certainly do not wish to ruin my credit rating, particularly since I was not born as a white American like Don)
I called Vodafone, and guess what? Vodafone overcharged me (i.e. they owe me money). The lady on the Customer Service Desk informed me that Vodafone needed to return me $50.97. So we arranged for the money to be returned to my credit card.
All solved, it was not me owing Vodafone money which worried me.
