environmentally friendly method to kill a cockroach

Well, unlike the lucky Don who lives in beautiful Boston or reputable Rochester, Sydney is full of annoying insects. One of the very annoying one is without a doubt - cockroaches.

And cockroaches can be everywhere, including in the kitchen sink. I tried some hot water (from the tap), it did not work. So I boiled some water, it worked.

boiled cockroach

A good thing about using boiled water to kill a cockroach? The shape of the cockroach is very well preserved (compared to simply being squashed).

BTW, I am sure that DON will point out that both Beautiful Boston and Reputable Rochester, are crawling with huge cockroaches and other annoying insects too.
Certainly Boston was established long before Sydney was even thought of, so the insects brought from the old world have had a lot of time to mutate into today's species.

Not saying there aren't any, however, it is a common knowledge that insects aren't active in nice and cold areas particularly with beautiful snow.

Actually, it's worse. They migrate inside and give you more problems, instead of staying outside and in garbage bins or such.

I am sure most American houses are well treated for repelling insects. Hence, you guys can enjoy the beautiful scenery: having some nice warm milk and cookies in front of the fireplace, and beautiful snow outside.

No, sorry.

You are either being polite, or such treated houses are something very basic in the States, nobody bothers talking about that.
Facts remains, beautiful Boston and reputable Rochester do NOT have so many annoying insects to start with.
