bye bye Epson Stylus Photo R230

Epson Stylus Photo R230Back in March 2007, I bought Epson Stylus Photo R230. The main reason for that was to print on CD/DVD discs.

After that, my printing has been diversified, also together with Laurent, the volume we print is pretty high. We got a colour laser printer, an A3 (similar to tabloid or ledger in Don's American English) inkjet printer, than a multi-function mono laser printer, and a few label printers.

Well, a while back, I gave Rev. Dr. Wu Yi the Brother MFC-240C all-in-one inkjet printer. Yesterday, I decided to retire the Epson Stylus Photo R230 yesterday. Not that I can't afford the genuine ink for it, I personally do not see the need of keep it. It occupies space, and I need a different set of ink for it. (to Don: Antony does not have a large room.)

After all, I can print on the CD/DVD disc with Epson Photo 1410 (the A3 one) which also does photo much better than the R230.

(to Don: Antony is poor, he has one less printer.)

So how many printers does that make now? I've still only got my one 12-year-old mono laser printer.

Well, it depends on how you count. Only three (3) I would say: Epson AcuLaser C1100N (A4 colour laser), Brother MFC-8890DW (A4 multifunction mono laser) and Epson Stylus Photo 1410 (A3 inkjet).
Unless you insisted on adding printers for special purposes, then you can add two label printers and one (6x4-inch) photo printer. The old list was here:
Remember, you returned home from RIT with a number of printers.

You are so cool! I do not suppose I've truly read anything
like that before. So wonderful to find someone with some original thoughts on this issue.
Seriously.. many thanks for starting this up. This site is something that is required on the internet,
someone with a bit of originality!
