old fashioned, but healthy (I believe)

Well, I just realised how old fashioned I am when comparing to our good friend Don who lives in beautiful Boston. Out of blue, I asked Don if he consumes much fruit because we happened to have quite a fair bit of fruit in the fridge.

Well, this is how I had my orange juice. I don't buy the bottled orange often because they are quite expensive (to Don: Antony is poor.)

This is my very old fashioned way for drinking orange juice:

Some of you know that we don't usually buy in bulk. As for oranges, we've been buying them in bulk. Reason? You can't squeeze much orange juice out from an orange. Harris Farm Markets have 10kg box of oranges for $9.95, pretty good value.

BTW, if you want sweet orange juice (not bitter taste), do not squeeze too much. The white part makes the orange juice bitter. In other words, to have better taste orange juice, don't be cheap.

As for Don's source of fruit? He told me the second ingredient of Mountain Dew is Concentrated Orange Juice. (Okay, he said that was a joke.)

This concludes Antony is old fashioned.

Yes it is true and I also believe that though it is old fashioned,it is more healthier.Bottled orange juice is expensive and sometimes there is more preservative in it which is not good for our health.

Well, for today's young kids many of them can't be bothered with the trouble of squeezing orange juice.
