luggage scale

Well, nothing exciting here to report. After all, I don't live in beautiful Boston with exciting lifestyle. So, a tiny gadget I got a while back - a digital luggage scale.

Luggage scale

I guess I don't need to mention much about the luggage scale itself. It is used for measuring the weight of luggage (and any items that can be hooked) up to the maximum weight of 50kg (or 110lb in Don's American unit).

Do I really need it? Besides I don't travel a lot, yes. It is needed, particularly for travelling. Airlines aren't that kind to luggage weight these days, particular if you are not of white Caucasian background which you can expect nicer treatments almost everywhere (that's reality, and I've told that to Don a number of times). What I am saying is, since I am not those lucky white Caucasians, I'd better follow every single regulations to avoid hassles and heavily fines. Yes, I know, life is not fair.

Since I am not intended to travel anytime soon, why did I buy it? Many of you know that Antony is a good bargain hunter, and I got it during a nice discount. And it would be useful and handy from time to time.

Luggage scale

This tiny device can be easily fit into any bags, and it weighs only 120g.

You couldn't just put your luggage on the bathroom scale like everyone else does?

Not really.
The middle part of the luggage do not get contacted with the regular body scale well. Plus, you can take this tiny device out and measure the weight outside.

I was given some excellent digital glass bathroom scales recently, and they are ideal for luggage weighing. I travel by air a lot, and never manage to even get near the 20Kg/44Lbs limit. Most of the time I am 11-13Kg and that is with everything I need. Antony needs to learn how to pack, and what not to buy overseas!
