homemade bread

You might remember last week I mentioned about a free deep fryer from FlyBuys. At the time of redeem our points, we actually ordered a bread maker at the same time. (to Don: Antony is poor, he can't afford buying breads outside.)

As I mentioned before, like the deep fryer, this bread maker costs us nothing (extra). Don't we all love rewards points?

Somehow, I have a feeling that this bread maker won't get Don's approval. We all know that he does not eat fried food at all. I am guessing that he does not eat bread as well. He only eats high class patisserie or cake, not the peasant class bread.

Unfortunately, the recipe book that came with the machine does not have Vienna Bread. Somehow, I just love the Vienna Bread so much. I guess I will have to find a recipe for it.

Nothing that special about this bread maker. It takes about 3 hours for one bread.

No, sorry, I eat bread like everybody else. I had never even heard the term "patisserie" used before now. You really need to stop making these undue conclusions about me.

After you have used it once and realise how useless it is, and how easy it is to buy bread from a bakery, you will put it away to gather dust. Three hours to make and bake, seems too long to me? Friend had an old model and didn't take that long.

We have used the bread maker more than once. Laurent is getting better with the portion of the ingredients (for better taste).
Unfortunately, you need to leave the bread in it for proper raising.
