shop like Americans
Soon, Sydney residents can access to the famous American discount mega store - Costco. New South Wales State Government has approved a new $60 million Costco development in Sydney's west. Well, according to the the newspaper, there are 157 strings attached to this approval. However, that shouldn't be a problem to the American mega store giant. And the Costco Sydney store should open its doors in about a year time.
From economics point of view (which Don studied that), more different suppliers means better for consumers. Well, without a doubt, local shopping centre owners and supermarkets aren't happy.
The opening of Costco store in Australia can make Americans feel like they were at home. A great bonus when Don visits Australia.

On the other news, Nintendo released it's DSiXL today in Australia. I had a quick play with it in Myer today. The screen is much better! Nintendo, although not Microsoft, is the platform of Don's beloved Zelda game series.
