wireless headset

So, you have a PlayStation 3, you got the PlayStation Eye (USB camera, I got it with EyePet bundle), a PlayTV for PS3 (for TV recording, a poor man's TiVo), and a Wireless Keypad... Obviously, Wireless Headset is the next accessory to have.

Sony Wireless Headset for PlayStation 3

The good thing about this Wireless Headset is that it, it also works with mobile phones, as in, it can be used as a wireless headset for mobile phones. And the best part of it, once you pair this Wireless Headset with PlayStation 3 (using advanced mode), and you pair this Wireless Headset to a mobile phone (or another other Bluetooth device), you don't have to repair it back to PlayStation 3 when you want to use it with PlayStation 3. The Wireless Headset will automatically pair itself with PlayStation 3 (if in the range) first, then it can be used with mobile phone (etc) if the paired PlayStation 3 is not around. How smart!

The PlayStation 3 Wireless Headset is also known as PlayStation 3 Bluetooth Headset
in some regions.

(to Don: Antony is poor.)

how can you afford all that crap? :o

Please remember that my headset is a wired one from the '70s, not to mention I had to solder on different connectors by myself. Plus, my headset is ridiculously huge. Nowhere near as fancy or as expensive as your small wireless headset.

Too embarrassed, can't reply!

To Sam and Don,
It is the cheapest Bluetooth headset available for PlayStation 3, and the very first Bluetooth headset I ever had.
To Rev. Dr. Wu Yi,
Embarrassed for what?

Usually, your "cheapest" just means you didn't shop around and/or consider any other brand names. Plus, can we agree that a $1.99 pack of mini-stereo connectors and a cent or two worth of tin solder cost less than your headset?

I think Ant might be a Oniomaniac ;-)

This device is not locked into PlayStation 3, although it has additional feature with PS3. Also, you missed out the fact that this is the cheapest (price tag) Bluetooth headset available for PS3.
Further, I told you that the TV is about 4 metres away from where I normally sit. It is NOT practically possible to get a headset with 6 to 8 metres long cable. (You need to put the cables around the room.)
Posted by Antony on 12 January 2010 6:28 AM.
So basically, your long-cable problem descends from the problem that you bought a TV that's way too big (and also way too expensive). Sitting less than 1m away from a cheap 17" set leaves plenty of room for cheap wired peripherals.

Most people sit in front of TV with a suitable distance, and most people also appreciate no wires between the seats and the telly.
Posted by Antony on 12 January 2010 8:00 PM.
Then "most people" must have more money than I do. I can't afford no wires and a TV big enough to sit a "suitable distance" away from.
Posted by Don_HH2K on 13 January 2010 3:24 AM.
Most people do not have that many gadgets or a BMW like you do, hence they can afford a reasonable sized TV and watch it in a "suitable distance".
Posted by Antony on 15 January 2010 2:05 PM.
So now you are trying to tell me I am poor because I bought a BMW that, all things considered, didn't even cost that much? That's a new one.
Posted by Don_HH2K on 15 January 2010 2:52 PM.
I never say you are poor. BMW owner and poor do not go together.
Posted by Antony on 15 January 2010 3:45 PM.
I guess you forgot again that I got a great deal on the car, or simply refuse to accept that.
Of course, knowing you, you would call me rich regardless of whether I bought a BMW or a Kia.
