just 21.5

Finally, I have a computer monitor (a non-built-in version). Actually, it is Laurent's since he paid for it and he would be the main person using it. But I made the decision (before you ask, not as a decision maker as Don used to be). Anyhow, it was paid through my credit card, so I get the Awards points.

Well, this LCD monitor is not Apple or Sony, which should keep Don happy.

(as usual, more photos follow...)

Quick specs about Samsung P2250 (21.5-inch):
1920 x 1080 (16:9 ratio)
VGA and DVI inputs
2ms response
matte coating

And, there is the monitor when it was assembled.

I haven't tested it with PowerBook G4 (12-inch) (the computer Laurent is using), but it works very well with my MacBook Pro (15-inch, early 2008 model)

For reference, Don has a number of monitors, and I don't have any monitors at all (external).

This monitor was on special at JB HiFi, and they also gave me additional discount on extended warranty. (to Don: Antony is poor.)

Flash was used when taking those photos.

How nice, the monitor is in your beloved widescreen format. The widescreen monitors I've seen tend to be much more expensive than their 4:3 counterparts. And I still don't see the need for such a huge screen.
When was I a "decision maker"?

You told me that you decided which netbook, Laser printers, and monitors if I remember correctly to buy. I meant to say purchase decision maker, sorry for my broken English.

I was not the decider, I only suggested which units to get. They could easily have told me to look for something else, or bought something completely different.

Same thing.
Further, you hated the 16 by 9 or any widescreen designs, just like you hate LCDs, and prefer CRTs.

"Decider" makes it sound like I have power whereas I actually don't. BTW, you speak English very well.
You are finally getting half the story right, "prefer" CRTs instead of "love" CRTs. The "hate" parts are still wrong though.

Your recommendation (or whatever you want to call it) was very influential. In other words, just one step away from making the decision.

I just hope Pepe always pays your credit card bill on time. Award points are all well and good, but the debt is still in your name!!

Of course, I pay off my credit card every month (by the due date).
There's a whiteboard in my room recording every dollar he owes me. Or shall I say every rewards point I made through his spending?
