a radio clock

During today's second window shopping, I bought a great radio alarm clock, not the new digital radio although... The sole purpose for the said radio clock was for its digital display as a clock in the living room.

Sony FM/AM Clock Radio

The cheap large digital radio alarm clock I bought from Kmart has dead a while back, and it has been overdue for a replacement. So I bought Sony FM/AM Clock Radio (ICF-C218) home today from Myer (a department store) with 15% off discount. The best part of this Sony Clock Radio is that it costs less than A$30.

Ever since the cheap digital clock bought from Kmart dead, it has been extremely annoying that when you are in the living room, you have nowhere to know the time, unless you take your mobile phone out or trying to read the tiny clock on the VCR which was not correctly set.

Sony FM/AM Clock Radio

This is just a very basic clock as I have some trouble finding digital clock without radio which has digits bright and big enough. (I hate analogue clocks.) As a matter of fact, this Sony radio alarm clock was the cheapest available in Myer (that includes other less known brands).
(to Don: Antony is poor, and not every Sony product is that expensive as you made it sound so.)

Hardly call it window shopping if you bought something, can you?

It started with just a 'window shopping' with dining out.

Of COURSE it's Sony!
Well, I guess you know by now that my clock radio is from the 1970s.

You missed out the key point again. It was the cheapest alarm clock I would find in Myer yesterday.

Not a very tasteful item for a living room, one must comment? One doesn't need an "alarm" clock unless you are sleeping in said room! There are many tasteful digital display wall or mantle clocks around. But the pair of you are not really into tasteful home decor from what I have seen....LOL!

I needed a clock, and I don't like wall clocks. An alarm clock is a clock.

This clock model is really modern and so cheap. I like it because it is inexpensive.
