Prepare your tissue box and heater ready for tonight's Michael Jackson coverage, starting at 11.15pm on Channel Nine (Nine's Late News), then at 11.45pm The Latest on Michael Jackson, then at 12.35am Michael Jackson: What Really Happened, and 1.30am: Michael Jackson the King of Pop.
On Channel Seven, the coverage starts at 12.30am with The Michael Jackson Story, then 12.50am the extended version of Michael Jackson: The Last Time (originally aired on Monday night for 1 hour).
Then the Michael Jackson Memorial will be held at 3am (AEST) on both Channel Seven and Channel Nine. Channel Seven's coverage will bet live and commercial free. That will be special editions of Sunrise and Today from 2.50am tomorrow morning.
In January this year, I woke up early and watched the live broadcast of the historical moment - the inauguration of the first black American president. I will definitely watch this very important live broadcasting. Let's pray no power outages tomorrow morning.
I went to one of Michael Jackson's HIStory Tour concerts in Auckland in 1996.
Unlike the nice and warm beautiful Boston, the heater is needed here in the late hours and early morning. I will probably get a blanket as well.

Ch-9 11am news did not give any news until 20 minutes into the broadcast to feature that Jackson rubbish!!
