We all know the headline of this past week - the sudden death of the ‘King of Pop’ Michael Jackson on Friday morning (Sydney time). Michael Jackson was 50. Other news, continued from last Friday, opposition accused Prime Minister of ‘ute-gate’ scandal (Opposition Leader claimed to have emails sent from Mr Rudd's Office that to a treasury official suggesting Queensland car dealer John Grant should be given priority in a government assistance program.) On Monday, the Federal Police verified that the so called emails were fake, PM fought back and demanded an apology. Opposition initially promised to be fully co-operate with the Federal Police investigation, later they exercised their parliamentary privileges (in plan words, the investigation was not in their favour, and they did not co-operate). Opposition leader has yet to apologise. On Friday, Apple's iPhone 3GS released in Australia.

No ‘The Week It Was’ video clips this morning. The Weekend Sunrise ended with one of Michael Jackson's biggest hits, ‘Black or White’ was written and composed by the king of pop himself. The song reached number one in 20 countries.
