I hate flies

Well, Sydney is unlike beautiful Boston without any annoying insects. A fly annoyed me today.

Presenting the fly on the straw (to Rev. Dr. Wu Yi, the fly was not on the wall), just a few minutes before its death.

This evil fly flew onto my head. I (lightly) swatted it, and picked it up with a tissue. A few minutes later the unbelievable thing happened, the presumably dead fly walked away from the tissue, and got up to the straw. I then took the photo above.

Somehow, that fly likes the caffeine from Coca-Cola.

After the photo, I taped it with sticky tape, and squeezed it.

I am pleased to report that this fly has been properly killed, and it is confirmed dead.

(to Don: I drink Coca-Cola from cans with a straw.)

Contrary to what you seem to think, Boston does indeed have insects all over the place - mostly mosquitoes and horseflies. And let's not even talk about the subway rodents.

If my understanding about Zen is correct, water is an important element of Zen. Without further ado, Zen fountain is about water.

BTW, you not only hate flies, but you hate rats also, and seem to be on a singular mission to murder all forms of Rodentia in your immediate sphere of influence.I have not fogotten your cockroach pogrom either.

It is well known that the beautiful cities have some not-so-tidy places. You haven't seen certain shocking rail stations in some Sydney suburbs.
