An illegal boat filled with asylum seekers came to Australia and the boat got on fire. They put petrol over their boat. The Government has changed the border protection laws last year. Thailand was in chaos due to demonstration. Qantas will axe 1750 jobs across the workforce. South east Queensland faced torrential rain, causing damages. Several storms swept through Sydney and Melbourne causing damages. Mel Gibson and his wife will divorce after 30 years of marriage. The White House has a new member - a Portuguese water dog, the newest member of the Obama family.
