LG launches Arena in Australia
To all Apple haters, there's a news for you. The iPhone-killer phone after gPhone (Google Android) - LG Arena is now available in Australia.
LG Arena (LG-KM900) is LG Electronics's flagship multimedia phone of the year. First announced at the Mobile World Congress this year. It is finally available in Australia through Vodafone for A$799 outright or A$0 upfront on a $69 or $79 cap for 24 months. Both Optus and Telstra will be getting the handset later this year.
LG Launches Arena (press release)
I am still very happy with my iPhone, bought on the first day of release. I just noticed that Vodafone has dropped the unlocking fee for iPhone. (This is to unlock the iPhone officially and legally, not jailbreaking.) In my case, I can only pay as little as $25 to unlock the iPhone to use it with other networks.
Apple sells iPhone 3G in Australia with three different mobile networks, and I chose Vodafone.
