another book on photography

I first saw this book in a public library a while back. I read some chapters in the library, and decided to get it. Now I have it.

Light & Lighting in Digital Photography

Photography is all about lighting as many would agree. The Complete Guide to Light & Lighting in Digital Photography by Michael Freeman is a very good book focused on getting the light/lighting right. There are many photography books, but not many focused on lighting. This is a great book for reading and a reference book.

Why didn't I just borrow the book from library? Well the poor Antony does not have a library card, and I can't keep a library book home forever as a reference book.

Unlike the very advanced Don, Antony does not have an e-paper reader. He prefers to read books in the old fashioned printed way. (also to Don: Antony is poor.)

from iTunes Store:
Uncle Ian's son Brad has an $A8,000 Digital SLR, and another valued around $A14,000. He has many extreme lenses up to a metre long. He photographs surfing events, sometimes from the shore and others with his cam in a plexiglass box in the ocean!
What has this to do with lighting? Nothing really, but I just wanted to tell you.....LOL!

Thanks to the price drop, the DSLR cameras are now much more affordable. And that's the reason I can afford getting into the world of DSLR!
(to Don: Antony is poor.)

Antony, please remember that my camera cost just $50US and was used, and that I haven't bought any accessories for it. You told me that you've spent more than $2000AU on accessories alone, not even including the camera.

Please re-visit the "Ant and the Grasshopper" story.
However, to each his own, as they say in the Classics!

Please remember that since I am not an American like you, Europe does not welcome me. Hence I got some gears that I can use here. Also, thanks to your skyrocketing US currency, all gears are becoming ridiculously expensive here.
