Sydney Mardi Gras 2009 photos and video

Laurent and I were to Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras on Saturday afternoon, sitting under the the scorching sun (to Don: this means Antony is now very dark.) waiting for the parade to start. Well, we got to the front row.

Before we start the series of the photos, I'd like to show my greatest respect to Don with this very important photo:

Olympic gold medalist diver Matthew Mitcham is the chief of parade of this year's Sydney Mardi Gras.

If you live in Boston, the Boston Pride Parade 2009 will be held on Saturday, June 13 (12noon). From the route map shown on Boston Pride website, it seems to be a big one!

I was really astounded with the long lasting battery of Sony NP-FM500H STAMINA battery (for my Sony Alpha-350 DSLR camera). In the past, I took less photos in Mardi Gras events, and always requires two batteries. This time 1040 photos and many with flash fired... Only used 65% of the power of NP-FM500H. One of the thing about Sony's STAMINA battery is that it indicates the actual percentage of the power left, unlike other camera batteries where only indicated by 3 or 4 bars.

Of course, I know 14th March is your birthday. It is recorded in my Address Book (.app), and hence synced to my iCal (.app). And it is synced to my iPhone 3G!
