Pacific Brands, the mother company of the well known Bonds, Holeproof clothing brands decided to shift all workforce to China, resulting 1850 job losses. Sue Morphet (CEO of Pacific Brands) received a huge pay raise when she took the job, and sacking all workers makes her the most hated boss in Australia. Telstra's outgoing CEO Sol Trujillo is likely to receive a $3million bonus when he leaves the job in June. Fires were still burning, and school was closed due to the danger of bushfire. Heath Ledger wins Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
