National Day of Mourning
Today is National Day of Mourning for Victorian bushfire memorial service. The bushfire started on 7th February. I did get up extra early today at around 5.55am this morning.
Here's the video clip of the popular I Am Australian with two new verses for today's memorial. Bruce Woodley, the original song writer, and his daughter also performed the song.

The bits I saw made up the most embarrasing TV I have seen in an age.
They cobbled a lot of crappy sentiments together, threw in a heap of "nationalism", and some very questionable public figures!

I don't agree with Dr Wu. I live in a remote area, and I found it a good chance to feel some solidarity for the bereaved and other victims.
Even the Princess Royal's speech was worth hearing.
I was however surprised that the clergy from other religions weren't given time. 3 flavours of Christian and a Bhuddist, but surely, based on population, the Muslims, at least, should have been heard.
Overall -- a score of 98%. when will the dvd be available?
