Sorel, Greek, Sirloin, Venison, Meringues and Moka

Last Friday's photo was a quick one. I then bought some square plates from IKEA. There are the photos of my last night's cooking.

It was my week four in the Practical Hospitality Cooking Class class with Margot at Laurent's cooking school. It was a bit faster, we spent about three hours preparing and cooking.

The two first courses:

The dishes are:

Cream Agnes Sorel
Greek Salad
Sirloin Bordelaise Style
Dauphinoise Gratin Potatoes
Fagot of Green Beans
Venison Sausage & Onions
Ribbon Pasta & Garlic
Niçoise Ratatouille
Poached Meringues & Coulis
Moka Coffee Gateaux

They all taste great because they were all served in square plates. Simple!

Still don't seem to be able to get appetising shots of the food. Everything looks burnt or too dark, need to add some coloured lighting (filters?) to highlight differences in texture, shape, colour etc. IMO
