it's good to have a big TV

Well, we all love big TVs (except Don). During the 16 days trip in Tasmania, we had a TV set on most nights , only one night we had a TV larger than 20-inch. Laurent and I were watching TVs on tiny TVs most of the nights in Tasmania.

Sony Bravia 52-inch W series LCD TV, with Deal Or No Deal on

Although I never felt that a 40 or 52-inch TV is that big, after two weeks of tiny TV sets, the Sony Bravia LCD TV suddenly became very big. It was very enjoyable when watching Disney's Cars on Blu-ray (via Sony PlayStation 3). (to Don: Antony is poor, he does not have a Blu-ray player.). Perhaps open-source extremists won't consider 40- or 52-inch TV big, but it certainly big for Antony.

I also missed one episode of Prison Break, and my scheduled recording was screwed up due to the power cut in Sydney. I might get the episode from iTunes Store. Either I did not set it up properly or the design is simply. The main power backup device (1500VA UPS) I bought in April did not switch back up itself once the power is used up and the main power returns.

1500VA UPS (uninterruptible power supply)

The smaller UPS I have (Belkin Surge Protector with Battery Backup, 600VA) did work well, it switched itself back on after the power returns. However, the Belkin one was only connected to my ADSL modem/router and Time Capsule.

(to Don: Antony is poor, he does not have a Blu-ray player.). > (to no one in particular: Antony just contradicted himself!) Dude, you have a big TV. My cheapo Sanyo CRT is 27". Your loaded. Plus, a smaller TV/monitor can be better, when your say... watching mature content (though I NEVER do that!)

I like my 17" CRT. I only sit a foot away from it, so size really isn't that big a deal, and yes, it's HD-capable. Keep in mind that it only cost $120 in parts (the vast majority of that was a component video decoder) to build; that's cheaper than any off-the-shelf LCD HDTV I've ever seen, let alone your monster of a TV.
If you ask me, I consider anything over 25" to be "big". Please keep in mind that I grew up with a 13" (and later an 18") CRT set in the house, and that this new huge TV craze is something relatively new.

Up until 2006 I had the old RCA 19" from 1994 that was bought in some K-Mart far away.

Guys, the key thing is... Antony is poor.

Very soon, no one will bother to read your blog Antony.
The sooner your dump that absurd, "Antony is poor" bit, the more credible you will be!
