It's very Don.

Perhaps some of you may comment that the title of this entry is not grammatically correct. Well, you have to excuse non-English speaking Antony, there's something called "very Sony". (to Don: Antony does not speak English.)

Anyhow, on the way to Devonport (Tas) on Monday, Laurent and I spotted this sign.
Don sign

Apparently, there is a town or a suburb (or perhaps a village) called Don (I meant named after Don).

There's a lot more than just a town named Don, more photos follow...

Laurent and I, of course, made a small detour to see exactly how "Don" the Don place is.

They don't just have a Don town, but also a Don Road:

Not just a Don Road, but also a Don View Court:

Not just streets named after Don, there's a Don recreation ground:

A Don Reserve:

And a Don River:

Near the Don River, there's a Don River Railway,

and a Don Memorial Hall:

That's not all of the Don thing, There's actually a Don College.

Here the location of Don in Google Map, unfortunately it is not in the beautiful Boston.

I was astonished that Don was so famous. So many things named after Don.

I did not photoshop any photos (not counting the last on which is based on a screenshot of Google Map), except resizing and watermarking. One photo was slightly lightened to make it easier to see.
