There's some information for those who like rumour.

Personally, I won't call following information "rumour", because it is from the same reliable source as past, the one I posted a while back regarding recent MacBook update.

The new MacBook will be thinner and lighter. New MacBooks will feature very fast DDR3 SDRAM as main memory. The graphic card would be better than current ones, and there will be no Firewire 400 ports in some models. Sorry, I can't tell you more. Also, the RAM size is likely to be fixed.

Well, I have some information on the specs of the upcoming Mac mini.

(Just keep reading for the updated specs.)

Apple last updated Mac mini in August 2007. The specs were:
1.83 GHz or 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2MB or 4MB on-chip L2 cache, 667 MHz frontside bus, and standard 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) supports up to 2GB. Intel GMA 950 graphic (64MB shared with main RAM). 80GB or 120GB 5400-rpm Serial ATA (optional 160GB), Combo drive or SuperDrive with double-layer support. Built-in Gigabit ethernet, AirPort Extreme (802.11g) and Bluetooth 2.0.
It has been widely rumoured that Apple is discontinuing Mac mini product line, and widely predicted that there would be new Mac minis.

Well, I can't tell you all the information on the upcoming Mac mini, but I can tell you following:
Not a speed bump on CPU speed, but 3MB shared L2 cache, 1GB or 2GB of DDR3 SDRAM with maximum of 4GB, SuperDrive and NVIDIA GeForce 9400M are the base configurations with the choice of 128MB or 256MB DDR3 SDRAM shared. New to Mac mini are: Mini DisplayPort, mini-DVI port, one FireWire 800 port, more USB 2.0 ports, and 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

That's all I can tell you.

Well, these specs are for the upcoming Mac mini. I do not have information if new Mac mini would be revealed during MWSF 2009. (I haven't checked the popular Mac rumour sites, they should have more information.)

How accurate is my source? I don't know. From my past experience, it has been extremely accurate. However, it is entirely up to you to believe.
