NYE08 Fireworks Photos, part 2

This is the second part of NYE08 Fireworks Photos Hobart.

The midnight version is a bigger than the 9.30pm fireworks (kids version), the crowd? Not that many compared to Sydney's scale. In fact, no one left the car until 10 minutes before the fireworks, Hobart is simply far too cold at NYE. This is one of the coolest NYE I've ever been. (Despite low temperature and strong wind, no beautiful snow as in Boston etc)

(as usual, more photos follow, and better fireworks)

Due to strong wind, some fireworks were tilted in some way, and a few photos were not as sharp as I have hoped. (tripod is not super steady that well under strong wind condition.)

Hey Ant, if you took photos with your new camera, they are very good indeed.I remember last year or the year before when you took photos of Sydney's fireworks on a different camera, but they were good also.

NYE07 (Sydney) photos were shot with Sony DSC-H9. Both 9.30pm and midnight (Hobart) versions were shot with my new camera (Sony A350).
In NYE07, I simply used the camera's fireworks mode. This time, Sony A350 does not have fireworks mode. I used the M mode.
