Sunrise and coffee
This is how I usually drink my morning coffee, the Cashmere Square Coupe Cup and Saucer (fine bone china) Laurent gave me for my birthday.
And sometime I even use doilies (if you look at the above photo careful, you can see the doily).
Many of you know that I am a big fan of Channel 7's Sunrise morning news show. And I decided to give myself something for Easter.
This is a screenshot from Channel 7's morning news show, Sunrise. I watch Sunrise every morning when I wake up early enough.
As you can see, the swirl Sunrise mug!

Well, I only have one, so I won't use it for serving guests. (Antony is cheap.)
(to Don: Antony is poor.)

Excellent, more brand-name novelty items.
You got to do something to start your day beautifully.
I don't start my day beautifully. I turn off my alarm clock, roll out of bed, check my e-mail, get dressed, and go to school, all in the course of about 30-45 minutes. There's nothing particularly "beautiful" about that.
Rev. Dr. Wu Yi,
I know you are jealous because I have better looking cups/mugs than yours.
You forgot to mention your beautiful breakfast.
For Nespresso coffee drinkers like me, it is important to have good Nespresso coffee served in a good glass/mug/cup to make the day starting beautifully. And a coffee cup is nowhere "novelty".
I would not call a breakfast of cold cereal or toast to be "beautiful" in any way.
You don't need to drink expensive Nespresso coffee, and you almost certainly don't need to drink it in a good glass/mug/cup. It's the same coffee, regardless of whether you put it in a mug or anything else.
Your coffee cup is "novelty" in that you paid extra for the brand names on it. My guess is that you already have plenty of mugs and didn't need another one.
My Nespresso coffee is nowhere expensive. It is a lot cheaper than buy coffee at the world famous Starbucks from America. Serving good coffee in a good coffee cup can make people feel better, just like food is presented beautifully in good restaurants.
You got to change your coffee cups from time to time, just like you change your room decoration from time to time.
I recall you bought those boxes of the many different varieties of coffees to use with your Nespresso machine. It would be much cheaper to just go to the store and buy coffee in bulk, like most non-rich people (unlike yourself) do.
Why do you always need to make something look or feel good? Sometimes you have to make compromises.
I haven't changed my room decoration in five years, you know.
People buy different flavour tea bags in boxes, and I buy sleeves of Nespresso coffee in different flavours.
Shall I tell you that I have successfully introduced a few friends of mine into Nespresso coffee? They all love the beauty (as in consistent taste, almost no cleaning required... etc). Of course, they all agree that Nespresso is a whole lot cheaper than going to coffee shops such as the world famous Starbucks from America.
So in other words, you convinced them to spend extra money on expensive coffee instead of just buying regular coffee in bulk from the grocery store.
Not really. They buy coffees from coffee shops (like me). They all have espresso machines. I merely recommended they a better espresso machine - Nespresso machine and coffees, they all love Nespresso.
I think I shall write an entry on this.
Further, if you don't have some good tea/coffee cups, how do you host the beautiful Boston Tea/Coffee Party?
Well, my family doesn't own an espresso machine at all, and just buys coffee in the bulk containers from the store.
The Boston Tea Party was over two hundred years ago...
May I recommend your family a Nespresso machine?
We're not rich, like you are.
Actually, Antony is very poor. I've told you that numerous times.
That's one sweet cup! The coffee in the first picture looks like Decaffeinated Tea
. Well anyway, I hope I can get one of those cups. If my budget allows it.
I like collecting this kind of stuff.Mug is very useful not only for decoration but also for housekeeping use.
Thanks for sharing new ideas for this wonderful cups. It's one of the unique designs from Villeroy and Boch and many people are loving it.
