The Quarfie, Crumpler

You might remember that earlier this year, I bought a Crumpler The Sinking Barge (a laptop/camera bag, blog entry), then, I returned it and got a Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home (camera bag) and a Crumpler Considerable Embarrassment (15-inch laptop bag). But the Embarrassment can't fit my 15-inch MacBook Pro with protective hard case/sleeve on, so I returned it and got Dreadful Embarrassment (17-inch laptop bag) instead. (blog entry)

Well, somehow, I need another bag. My first place for bags shopping? Crumpler of course. Presenting my newest Crumpler family - Quarfie.

Why do I need another bag? There are times, when I don't feel like to carry my laptop bag, and I need a handy bag that carries all sort of small items (e.g. wallet, ear piece for my iPhone, evidence recorder, compact camera, mini umbrella, ... etc). In plain words, it is handy to have one.

Some of you may wonder exactly how many Crumpler bags I currently have. Not many, and there's the answer:

I have one laptop bag. I found it in a dumpster.
And I certainly don't have one named anything like "6 Million Dollar Home", hence, you are rich.

I bought my "digital bag" a few years ago at wal*mart for 2 bucks. several years later it's been duct taped more times then I could count.

Congratulation you two fellows for what I like to call, "smart shopping", something our dear friend Antony has no idea about.Talk about naming and shaming, those folks who lemming-shop the big brands, dare not claim "to be poor"!Buy what you like, just don't rub our noses in it!!

Well, I've been searching for a suitable carry bag. I don't think I can get a handbag, and this bag is just the perfect size.

If the above is true Antony, why not just say I bought a suitable bag for my camera stuff? Thus avoiding product placement in your blog, nes pas?
