Tonight on Bones (Season 4 episode 5, The Perfect Pieces in the Purple Pond)

The pieces of a dismembered body are found lying in a purple pool of water, except the head is missing. The team finds that the body belongs to a science fiction writer who had several mental problems. However, without the head, there isn't enough evidence to find the killer, until Zack lends a hand.
