There's a new hope for United States and the world. Barack Obama won the US Election to become the 44th US President, and the most noticeably, the first African American US President. America is a country that tells its children that they can grow up to be the President, no black child had really believed that until Wednesday night. Not just the Democrats across the US celebrated Obama's victory, Kenya and a Japanese City called Obama were also excited.
New Zealand also has a Prime Minister last night. John Key and the centre-right National Party won the election, ending Helen Clark's 9-year Prime Minister in the country. Also this morning's breaking news, the three Bali Bombers were finally executed. The Terrorist killed 202 people including 88 Australians in Indonesia in 2002. They saw it as a martyrdom.
