today's news

Scorching hot in Sydney today, temperature reaching 35˚C, the hottest day in 18 months. (Last summer wasn't that hot in comparison.) The fan I bought on Tuesday turns out to be extremely useful. It certainly worth the money.

Not a very good news from USA. Americans cut back their spending by the biggest amount in 28 years.

An exciting news across the Atlantic Ocean. Australia's shopping centre landlord Westfield opened the Europe's largest shopping complex in London, costing £1.7 billion and the size of 30 football fields. It has 265 shops, and a 14-screen cinema, 50 restaurants, a gym, spa and library under its energy-efficient roof.

The best part of this news, there's an Apple (mini) Store in this giant shopping complex.

The Westfield London would, without a doubt, be added to my list of must visit places (besides Apple Store Regent Street) if I ever get the chance to visit UK. (To Don: Antony is poor, he has never travelled to Europe.)

Don't worry Don, if I go to Boston, I will visit the Boylston Street Apple Store.
