two laughable games, but I like them

Some of you may know that I bought a Sony PlayStation 3, a Nintendo Wii after Laurent and I bought the Sony Bravia TV. Both Laurent and I are not serious gamers. (We both like Wii Fit and other ‘easy’ games.) Today I acquired two of my all time favourite games - Monopoly and Tetris. (To Don: Antony is poor.)

Monopoly for Wii

Without a doubt that Monopoly is the best board game for all occasions (as long as time is allowed). The new Monopoly game (for Wii, PS3, PS2 and Xbox 360) released yesterday in Australia. I got the game from the Toys ’R’ Us in Parramatta today. Two months ago, Sydney was officially listed in the Monopoly Here & Now: The World Edition. This new Monopoly game for Wii, PS3, PS2 and Xbox 360 features both Classic and the new World Edition Boards.

Unlike today's modern gamers, Antony plays board games such as Monopoly with friends.

For reference, back in 2006, a new version of Monopoly was released, named Monopoly: Here & Now Edition, featuring updated names and facilities as well as a huge inflation on the cost of land, and rent etc. Later, there's a Visa card version of Monopoly. (Monopoly: Here & Now Electronic Edition)

Besides getting Monopoly today, I purchased Tetris Party from WiiWare (Wii Shop Channel). Unlike some lucky Americans, we got used to wait for games to release in Australia. Tetris Party is just released today.

Tetris Party

I haven't had time to play all areas of this new Tetris Party. Besides the website says that there are 18 exciting modes, I found that using Wii Balance Board (the Wii Fit board) is a very interesting way of controlling the Tetriminos.

The best part of this game... it is available at very cheap price, 1200 Wii Points (about AU$18). (To Don: Antony is poor.)

And, this is Antony's Mii in Wii. The one on the right is Laurent's Mii. Pretty good representations I'd say.

"Pretty good", you say, but you also claim that you're black. If you think that you have very dark skin, how come your Mii doesn't have very dark skin as well?
It seems like you added terms such as "modern gamers" and "lucky Americans" just for the sake of linking to my blog. You could just as easily have linked to Billy's, Wolfey's, or Andrew's.

I have several different editions of the non-techno/electronic board game Monopoly. Also in several different languages and country place names. One is at least 50 years old. It was fun to play for hours or even days, once upon a time.

Well, the Mii should ‘represent’ someone that people can recognise. Laurent would've complaint had I used too much black paint on my Mii. But the fact is Antony is black.

DON: Antony is much whiter than I am, and I'm a potato and he's rice! Go figure!!

I've been trying very hard to convince Don that I am black.
