disgraceful Queensland Police

Monday's news on disgraceful Queensland Police. Just click the QuickTime screenshot below to watch the clip.
qt_qld_police_081021.jpg
What went wrong? It seems like the stupid and power abusing police raided a lawyer's home for no reason. The power-enjoying police officers simply forgot how good lawyers can do in terms of getting justice. (source: ABC news) It seems like the search warrants can be easily used to trash anybody's home by Police for whatsoever reason. I don't think I need to mention any further.

Shame on you Queensland Police.

Perhaps the law does not allow you to get even with Police shall your home been trashed by Police for no rightful reasons. Remember to record all your evidences (including all illegal threats from police), and the good old naming and shaming still works well. That's why we all love current affair shows such as Today Tonight and A Current Affair.

H.264QuickTime 7The video clip is encoded with state-of-the-art video codec H.264, which delivers stunning quality at remarkably low data rates. QuickTime Player 7 (free) is recommended for watching the video.

On some very low level, you guys are lucky. Here in the US, our homes can be searched without a warrant. Though this legislation was introduced as a counter-terrorism measure, the actual law I believe states that the government can do so for any reason it sees fit.

DON, Antony had a nutty incident with the NSW Police a while ago, and ever since he has been on this bent against all law enforcement agencies!!
He comes from a Remote Village where they had Martial Law, so I don't know what he is on about!
As Homer would say, "Policeman good...Queenslanders bad..." and of course D'OH!!

Don:
I have a feeling that searching a house without a warrant against the US Constitution.
Also, Queensland is the big state above NSW.
