day trip

Laurent and I went to Botany Bay National Park today. The National Park is located in Kurnell Peninsula which is best known for the landing site of Captain James Cook's arrival in 1770. (Sorry, not Captain James Hook from Peter Pan nor Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean, although I believe both James Hook and Jack Sparrow were far more famous then James Cook.)

The main reason we went to Botany Bay National Park is that Laurent wanted a photo of Cape Baily Lighthouse. In order to take a photo of that, we had to walk (that is bushwalking) for one and a half hours.

And how did Laurent trick me to go out for photo taking? He promised to take me to shopping malls for my favourite window shopping. We visited Southgate Centre which is a rather small one, and Centro Roselands in Roselands. Laurent and I have never been to Centro Roselands, and to our surprise, it is quite a big and good shopping centre.

Southgate Centre has Wendy's (ice cream) and Kmart, and Centro Roselands has Gloria Jean's Coffees, Myer, Target and more. Best of all, both shopping centres provide free parking.

I need to schedule some time to go to Westfield Parramatta Shopping Centre.

Captain James Hook had his dream, however it was ruined by Peter Pan. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) was a heroics and honourable pirate who had adventure with Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley).
Anything important about Captain James Cook? Well, he discovered Australia (although not the first one), then, thanks to his discovery, this leads to the holocaust of Abnorginines.
