Superstar Michael Jackson turns 50 today.

Michael Jackson started his professional career as the lead singer in Jackson 5 when he was just 11. In 1980s, with the release of Beat It, Billie Jean and Thriller from Thriller album, he changed the MTV history. There were no other music video featuring African-Americans.

In 1994, Michael Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of Elvis Presley. Their marriage lasted for about 18 months. In November 1996, Michael Jackson married Debbie Rowe (Deborah Jeanne Rowe) in Sydney, Australia. They divorced 3 years later.

After the airing of Martin Bashir's Living with Michael Jackson TV interview (aired in 2003 around the world), Michael Jackson faced a number of child molestation charges. Michael Jackson was found not guilty of any of the charges.

For the reference, Martin Bashir also had a famous interview with Diana, Princess of Wales. After the interview, Diana and Prince of Charles divorced. Michael Barrymore was also interviewed by Bashir. The curse? Barrymore's life and career went downhill.

Michael Jackson has recently released Thriller 25 album, a 25th anniversary of the best selling album of all time.
