Vodafone releases iPhone 3G pricing

iPhone 3GNaturally, I'd prefer to stay with Vodafone for the iPhone 3G.

Vodafone (Australia) finally released plans for iPhone 3G. Vodafone provided 8 new exclusive plans for iPhone 3G. According to Vodafone, those new plans provides “heaps of credit to talk, TXT and more” and “a massive amount of included data to take advantage of the iPhone's email and web-browsing capabilities”. Pricing is available now at Vodafone iPhone 3G page, however the full detail will be available on 11 July.

The Vodafone's 8 new plans designed for iPhone:

I'd assume the $69 Vodafone Cap with $189 plus (8GB) or AU$309 (16GB) upfront fee is the one designed for average iPhone 3G users.

Of course, if you prefer, you can get iPhone 3G with other regular plans, including the popular $29 Jumbo Cap:

In short, if I decide to go with Vodafone, the cheapest Cap Contract ($29/mo) gives me an iPhone for AU$339 (8GB) or AU$460 (16GB) plus $130 credit.

Well, it's time to read the boring Terms and Conditions, and do the math.

There's no guarantee that I can get an iPhone 3G on its first day of sale.

Update (4.42pm): Vodafone has since removed the iPhone 3G plan information later this morning. Lucky, I got it early enough.

I will try to get one. However, there's no guarantee that I can get one as Apple products are usually not enough in supply in the first day.
