exciting week
Well, today is not the Desperate Monday as channel 7 has finished airing season 4 of Desperate Housewives. However, there are two things to get excited this week.
On Wednesday, the second settlement of Prison Break (season 3) will return to Channel 7. On 21 November last year, Channel 7 finished airing the first 8 episodes of Prison Break (season 3). Season 3 of Prison Break originally planned for 22 episodes, but due to Writers Guild of America strike, the number of episodes were cut short to 13. The second settlement of Prison Break (season 3) aired in America from 14 January to 18 February this year.
Season 3 of Prison Break continues on this Wednesday (9 July) at 9.30pm.
The other exciting event for this week is... the launching of iPhone 3G on Friday the 11th July of course.
iPhone 3G in Australia will be available with three carriers: Vodafone, Optus and Telstra. Telstra has announce the pricing, but not the exact detail of the plan (as in how much data/talk time were included). Optus has announced detailed plan costs for both prepay and on contracts. With Optus, you can get the iPhone outright (prepay) then pay extra AU$80 to get it unlocked (or free if after 6 months and spent more than $80 on recharging value).
At time of writing, there's no pricing information on Vodafone's offerings. All we know it Vodafone will also offer iPhone 3G without a contract.
Well, only a few more sleeps to go.
