22 June, 2008

the week it was 22nd June 2008

Geoff Mills who saved two truck drivers from a flooded river in WA will be nominated for brave awards. ‘All Saints’ and ‘It Takes Two’ star Virginia Gay was attacked by two men on the weekend. Those two men later killed Daniel Owen. Petrol reached record high. Here's the weekly The Week It Was. As usual, the clip is available in the usual H.264 format. Why do I use H.264 format? See this QuickTime codec comparison page and judge yourself.

Geoff Mills who saved two truck drivers from a flooded river in WA will be nominated for brave awards. ‘All Saints’ and ‘It Takes Two’ star Virginia Gay was attacked by two men on the weekend in Sydney's inner-west suburb of Marrickville. She was punched repeatedly in the face and was lucky not to have been killed. Chef Daniel Owen was found near dead about 15 minutes later. Petrol reached record high. The supermodel Naomi Campbell was sentenced to 200 hours community service after pleading guilty to assaulting police officers, disorderly conduct and abusive behaviour that included kicking and spitting. British Airways have decided not to let her fly on their airplane.

For those who like YouTube, here's YouTube version:

Who is the new owner of Donkey Express? What happened to the previous owner?

If you don't know that, you are obviously not one of the important people of the remote village! And it should not be discussed in an open forum!

You meant the dishonest Donkey Express boss was arrested?

No, there was an immediate strike and nothing moved in or out of the remote village for weeks!!
