For the important Apple Store Sydney opening, how could I not be there?

I don't usually wake up this early, but for Apple Store Sydney grand opening, I woke up early with Laurent (he's not an Apple fan), and got there around 3.40am joining the queue.

Laurent brought my MacBook Pro and the Vodafone mobile broadband card to me at 2pm. It was good to have internet connection back. Only 5% battery power left on my iPod touch after all morning's usage. (Well, I forgot to turn off the WiFi in the morning to conserve battery power.)

I take it you were around the corner, as the TV footage of the front of the store did not show you! You both look like comic/tragic figures sitting in the pre-dawn hours in a city street behind the barriers. ;-)

I am sure it's quite cold there, but you can feel the warmth from the crowd. :) Enjoy the grand opening and don't forget to tell us what you bought. :P

Yes, it was cold. And lucky that for the entire time queuing outside, we did not get any rain.
