it's confirmed: 5pm 19th June
According to yesterday's article on The Sydney Morning Herald, Apple's Australia store will open at 5pm on 19th June (Thursday). So naturally, I will be there on the opening day.
The Sydney store will be the first Apple Store in the southern hemisphere, one of the only three in the world to be spread over three storeys. It is also said to be one of the biggest stores Apple has ever built.
There will be a free T-shirt for the first 2500 customers through the door, not sure if I can get one.
Anyone going to camp outside the Apple Store for the opening?

It was supposedly quite difficult to get anywhere near Boylston Street when the Apple Store in Boston opened. I suppose that if you want in, you're going to have to queue up overnight or even a few days in advance, like people were doing here.

Talk about Desperate Housewives!! How about desperate Apple officianados? I'm sure Antony will camp out on the 18th, but I am refusing to keep him company!
