my Aeroccino stops working

Bad news. My Aeroccino stops functioning yesterday.

Some of you may know that I am a big coffee drinker, and I love Nestlé's Nespresso machine. (I know Rev. Dr. Wu Yi is jealous about my Nespresso machine.) Aeroccino is the included accessory for frothing milk. Since I don't drink coffee in espresso or long black (e.g. just coffee without milk), frothing milk is important for my latte.

Early last year, Laurent damaged my Aeroccino by immerse it into water. It was under original manufacturer warranty, and I had it replaced. This time, it simply stopped working.

Well, the Nespresso is no longer under original manufacturer warranty (1 year), but I bought a 5 year extended warranty (extends to 5 years) at the time when I bought the coffee machine. To put the story short, I called warranty service yesterday (Friday). And due to the cost of the machine, they said it is not worth repairing, and they will call me back with 24-48 hours. Monday is Queen's Birthday holiday, so I guess I will have to wait until mid or late next week to know what they will do with my Aeroccino.

For the meantime, I will need to buy coffee from the cafe in the corner. That is $3.80 for a large coffee.

(To Don, Antony is poor, he bought additional warranty because can't afford a new machine once the machine breaks down.)

Maybe it was the same one just dried out and sent back to you. Now it has given up completely. Do try to get it repaired on warranty. BTW, have you worked out how much each cup of coffee costs with your stupid Nespresso machine?

not exactly, but it is far less than $3.80. It also depends if I used my mug or disposable paper cups. (Yes, I bought those takeaway coffee cups.)

If I were you, I'd have gone with the standard 30- or 90-day warranty, and repaired it myself.
