TypePad AntiSpam beta
For whose who run a blog, sooner or later the commenting spam is a big issues if commenting is open. To many of us, we'd prefer to let our readers able to leave comments without too much hassles such as registering an account. And the usual solution is a CAPTCHA system which requires users to enter the text displayed on an image.
According to the website, it works for Movable Type 3.3 and later, and WordPress 2.5 and later. It is also compatible with Akismet API and support for other platforms will be available soon.
AntBlog701 currently uses SCode plug-in plus some PHP to stop the comment spams using system resource. I haven't implemented this plugin yet, but I am likely to test it out shortly.
