I got a Navman

Finally, I got my first GPS navigation device. Two weeks ago, Laurent and I went to FoodService Australia Expo 2008, and I won the door entry price - Navman S30.

Because I came back home earlier that day, I had to wait for them to post the item to me. It arrived yesterday morning.

As we all know that Don has a lot of electronic gadgets, somehow, (if I understanding is correct) he's yet to get a GPS navigation device, which I am a bit surprised.

Back to the topic this is the Navman S30:

Yesterday, I used it to drive to Parramatta Stadium for lunch then a trip to Officeworks in the late afternoon. I am surprised that GPS device is quite accurate to know exactly where I was, and guides me correctly to the destination.

I now shouldn't have problem driving to visit Rev. Dr. Wu Yi and driving back home with the Navman.

I have to point out that Don has the most advanced version of Windows Vista Ultimate, and this free Navman is the most basic model currently available, S30. (To Don, I am poor.)

You were so lucky to win the "door prize", no the "door entry prize". You will never have to follow a bus ever again! Make sure you keep it safe and show no signs of it through the car windows, also remove the ring caused by the suction cup on the windscreen, or thieves will know you have one.
BTW if you actually got a real job you may not be poor any longer...:D

Wow, congratulations on actually having places to go! My daily commute is as follows: home -> school -> work -> home, and doesn't change very often at all. I don't need a GPS to find my way to the train station.

Just so you know, my Vista Ultimate was also a free prize. So maybe it wasn't a door prize, I had to answer a few trivia questions first.

Thank Rev, I did not type "door entry price".
And I don't follow the bus, I merely followed the bus route so I don't get lost.

Don, you missed one important bit, Your Windows Vista is the most advanced edition, and my Navman is the most basic model from Navman currently.

Antony, you missed the important logic: free = free, it can't be used to prove one of us to be rich and the other to be poor.
