unusual meat and I cut my finger

Laurent's cooking school was busy today, and he needed a kitchen hand to assist him, I offered him my help.

He had a team building for Tracy's Big Day Out. They chose Native Australian food for the menu. What does that mean? After hours of working in Laurent's kitchen, I have crocodile fillet and kangaroo meat to eat. Crocodile meat tastes a bit like chicken but very light in flavour, and the kangaroo tastes like light flavoured beef by itself.

Then in the evening, I had lamb brain. The name sounds a bit scary, and the brain taste like silky tofu (by itself).

I am not that fancy on those ‘unusual’ food, just regular meat from ‘regular’ supermarkets with the very important salt and pepper will do. Preferably pink rock salt, and the food is being served on a square plate. There's an Antony saying: food tastes better once it is served on a square plate.

And I cut myself in my finger tip with a kitchen knife today while helping Laurent. There's the photo:
