High School Musical: The Ice Tour day

Laurent is a big fan of Disney's High School Musical and High School Musical 2 movies. I decided to surprise him with tickets to High School Musical: The Ice Tour show.

We went to Acer Arena (in Sydney Olympic Parks) this morning. I simply can't believe the number of kids (and families) there. Laurent and I couldn't spot any other non-family groups (one or two adults with kids).

When I go to movies, I usually try to avoid kids hours or sit in front of kids. Kids are extremely annoying, talking out loud and screaming, and kicking on the chair in front of them. Extremely evil and uneducated. Surprisingly, during the show, those kids were quiet and well behaved.

Here's something interesting. According to the FAQ on the web:

8. Are cameras allowed in the arena?
Still cameras are permitted, provided that they are non-professional cameras and the photos are intended for personal use only. No video cameras of any kind ar allowed in the arena. Digital camera policies are different from arena to arena, so if you have concerns, please contact the specific arena in your area to verify policy details.

I did not take any photos, but there were quite a few flashlights used during the show. From my photographic knowledge, taking photos from a long distance, the built-in flashlight won't do much help.
