down by 1, up by 2, then down 1 up 1. Crumpler bags again

The Sinking BargeFew weeks ago I mentioned about my new Crumpler bag - The Sinking Barge. On 11th March, the following day after I received my MacBook Pro, I decided to exchange Crumpler backpack (The Sinking Barge) to two shoulder bags (some call them messenger bags).

So, I got a Crumpler 6 Million Dollar Home (photo bag) and a The Considerable Embarrassment (15" laptop bag). I was happy.

(photos of Crumpler bags follow...)

The Crumpler photo bag (6 Million Dollar Home) although a little bit big for my current need, I am sure the extra space will come handy someday. I am still considering getting a DSLR in the near future.

Well, the story did not end there. Last Sunday, I decided to buy a laptop sleeve for my MacBook Pro. I decided to go for semi-hard sleeve. When I got home, I discovered that I can't put the 15-inch MacBook Pro with the sleeve into the laptop compartment of The Considerable Embarrassment bag. Bugger!

So, I visited the Crumpler shop again, admittedly, I am a bit embarrassed. I exchanged the 15-inch The Considerable Embarrassment to 17-inch The Dreadful Embarrassment bag. I didn't need to get the same colour one, but I sort of like the green colour. Now, problem solved. Enough compartment for the MacBook Pro with sleeve, and more room for everything else.

This is the story about Crumpler bags, from considerable to dreadful embarrassing. Yeah, all Crumpler bags have interesting names.

Hey Antony, I wish I had known you were into those bags, as my young friend in Singapore has one,and I noticed when we were in a department store, in Singapore last week, there was a store dedicated to them for about $S100 and the $A was $1.28 against the SIN $, so about $A70,is that good? I notice that bloody Grumpy gets in a picture again!!!LOL!!
