cold today and my printer is not working

Well, for those of us don't have beautiful snows to enjoy, we even feel 18°C is a bit cold during summer, especially after some 30-plus degrees earlier in the week.

Well, my Epson AcuLaser C1100N printer is not working since yesterday. The machine keeps saying "JAM MP E" which means paper jamming in MP (multipurpose tray) or E (back door). However, I am sure paper jamming wasn't the case, as I've check MP and E a number of times, and the messages were cleared each time.

However, as soon as I try to print, I get the same error. I then noticed that the printer does not pick up paper from the tray.

From a quick Google search, it seems to be a problem from "solenoid" and not picking up paper. If I can't find out anything else goes wrong, I will contact Epson on Monday for warranty service.

It is a bit annoyed when the printer is not working, although I still have two inkjet printers for printing needs. However, once you got used to laser, you'd prefer to print out with laser whenever possible. Epson AcuLaser C1100N is the network version of Epson AcuLaser C1100. If you know what went wrong, please let me know.
