Happy New Year.

I spent 8 hours yesterday on Mrs Macquaries Point, sitting under the sun. Laurent and I arrived at Mrs Macquaires Point at 4pm. We were quite lucky that we got a reasonably good spot, in fact the best position for New Year's Eve fireworks I've ever had over those years. We were extremely lucky as all other good spots were gone by 10am yesterday morning, a guy told me.

Finally, the sky was getting darker and the temperature was getting better. Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge at 8.48pm, just before the 9pm fireworks.

NYE07 9pm fireworks.

Last year, I went out for fireworks with John, we were not able to get into Mrs Macquries Point... it was full already. The capacity for Mrs Macquries Point is 22,000.

Midnight's fireworks were even bigger and above the Sydney Harbour Bridge. I will post photos of midnight version in next blog entry. Stay turned.
